Presenting The Query Tool, the powerful and intuitive data analyser.

The Query Tool works with any OLEDB or ODBC compliant database including, but not limited to, Oracle, Sybase, DB2, MS SQL Server, Informix, MS Access, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and more.

Following the success of versions 1 through to 4, The Query Tool has now been completely rewritten using the latest .NET technology from Microsoft.

Version 5 served as a test for connectivity and was well received. Your feedback was compiled and we are now proud to announce the release of version 2005!

Many new features  have been added as well as several enhancements and bug fixes.

 

Browse the contents of a table^*, view^* or stored^* procedures for any OLEDB or ODBC compliant data source. Adding a new data source is quick and simple. If you have the appropriate driver then The Query Tool can connect to it!

The Query Builder allows you to quickly and simply build custom queries to apply to your data. The powerful GUI (Graphical User Interface) is simple to use and you'll quickly be building complex queries. You can save your queries to disk to be reloaded at a later date.

 

Produce Summarised figures for any two columns using aggregate functions (Sum, Max, etc). Only the current rows in the Query Results are summarised, allowing you to analyse very specific data. 

Now you can create your own query scripts using the Query Editor. Scripts can be saved to disk and reloaded at a later date.

Quickly and effortlessly export your data to a variety of formats including XML, CSV and HTML. Only the current rows are exported so any applied filter will also apply to the export. You can also choose which particular columns you want to export.

The Query Tool now includes powerful printing with full print preview. View up to six pages at time in the print preview, zoom in on any particular point. With a simple mouse click you can hide the columns you don't want to print.

Using the powerful Find facility, you can search for the occurrence of any particular item anywhere within your data. Search up or down the results grid or even restrict the search to one particular column.
